- Fair Housing Justice Center v. 1777 Management Company, LLC – The Firm successfully represented a non-profit fair housing organization in a case alleging that African American and Latino testers were discriminated against because of their race and national origin by the owner and building superintendent of a Brooklyn apartment building.
- Fair Housing Justice Center v. Town of Yorktown – The Firm filed a federal race and national origin discrimination lawsuit challenging a Westchester County suburban community’s practice of giving preference to local residents in its Section 8 housing voucher and other affordable housing programs.
- Long Island Housing Services v. Main Street L.I., LLC – The Firm represents a non-profit fair housing organization in a case alleging that the owner of five apartment complexes on Long Island discriminates against renters on the basis of disability.
- Fair Housing Justice Center v. Silver Beach Gardens, Edgewater Park & Amelia Lewis – The Firm represents a non-profit fair housing organization in a case pending in federal court alleging race discrimination by two Bronx cooperatives and a real estate broker.
- Carter et al v. Broadway Crescent Realty et al. – The Firm represents fair housing testers and a non-profit organization in a case alleging race discrimination by the owners and building superintendent at an apartment building in Astoria, Queens.
- Todd v. Potak Real Estate et al. – The Firm represented an African American attorney after her offer to purchase a new luxury condominium apartment in Brooklyn was rejected even though it was above the asking price.
- Lee v. Bais Seller Realty – The Firm has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of an African American woman against a Brooklyn real estate company alleging housing discrimination based on race and religion.
- Lubin v. Apuzzi Realty – The Firm successfully represented a fair housing tester in a case alleging that a New York real estate company refused to rent an apartment to a Hatian woman because of her race and national origin.
- Cales v. New Castle Hill Realty et al. – Together with the Urban Justice Center, the Firm has filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of a formerly homeless man against ten real estate companies and their agents alleging disability and source of income discrimination.
- State of New York v. Berezin – The Firm successfully represented one of several former tenants in a case brought by the New York State Attorney General’s office against a Manhattan landlord alleging that he sexually harassed female tenants.
- Katz & Nocera v. Brown Harris Stevens Brooklyn – The Firm brought a putative federal class action filed on behalf of renters who alleged that real estate agents were steering them away from apartments in Brooklyn because they had children.
- Cruz v. Nieves – The Firm represents a gay man who was subjected to vicious verbal and written harassment while he lived in a Bronx apartment building in an action against the landlord alleging violations of State and City laws prohibiting housing discrimination based on sexual orientation.
