ECBAWM Joins Lawsuit Challenging San Francisco’s Unconstitutional Treatment of Homeless Individuals
- November 6, 2024
On November 6, 2024, ECBAWM partner Zoe Salzman, Of Counsel Vasudha Talla and associates Vivake Prasad and Bianca Herlitz-Ferguson joined the ACLU of Northern California and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area as co-counsel in their clients’ efforts to combat unconstitutional laws and protect the rights of unhoused individuals in San Francisco. The Coalition on Homelessness and seven individuals sued the City and County of San Francisco in 2022 for unconstitutional sweeps of unhoused San Franciscans and the destruction of their property.
Attorneys from ECBAWM are eager to collaborate with the ACLU on this important project.
