Hannah Brudney

Hannah Brudney represents clients in a broad range of civil rights and commercial matters in federal and state court.  Her practice includes employment discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, wrongful conviction, police and prison abuse, school bullying, and disability abuse. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Hannah Brudney was a litigation associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where she focused on employment, false advertising, and complex commercial litigation as well as internal investigations.   Ms. Brudney also maintained an active pro bono practice, including representing individuals in civil rights cases and criminal appeals.  Prior to joining Patterson Belknap, Ms. Brudney clerked for Judge Valerie Caproni of the Southern District of New York.

Ms. Brudney received her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2019, where she served as a Senior Submissions Editor for the Southern California Law Review.  During law school, Ms. Brudney worked for the ACLU of Southern California’s Gender and Reproductive Justice Project, focusing on workplace sexual harassment and assault claims.  She also participated in USC’s Post-Conviction Justice Project, representing inmates across California in parole hearings.  Ms. Brudney received her B.A. in English Literature and Psychology from Columbia University.
