Eliza Shaffer

Eliza joined ECBAWM in 2026 as a Legal Assistant. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Community Development Facilitator with Peace Corps Moldova. While there, she collaborated with local partners to bolster the capacity of their organizations, spearheading projects including the development of a Youth Center volunteer program and the creation of a local women’s group. She also served as the coordinator of Peace Corps Moldova’s Peer Support Network (PSN), organizing outreach events and providing peer-to-peer support for volunteers in-country.

Eliza graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2024 with a B.A. in Religion. As a head fellow of the faith-based internship program at Princeton, she gained additional experience interning with Church World Service (CWS) and the NYC Civic Engagement Commission (CEC). She was also the recipient of the Religion Department’s thesis prize for Religion, Culture, and Society.
