Claire Abbadi

Claire Abbadi joined the firm in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, Claire clerked for Judge William K. Sessions III on the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont and Judge Catharine Friend Easterly on the D.C. Court of Appeals. After her clerkships, Claire was a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she focused on anti-trust litigation, white collar and regulatory defense, and investigations, in addition to a pro bono practice consisting of civil rights cases and prison litigation.

Claire received a J.D. from Columbia University in 2021, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as the Development Editor of the Columbia Law Review. She also participated in the Challenging the Consequences of Mass Incarceration Clinic, where she represented a client at a successful jury trial in the Southern District of New York, and the Rikers Book Club, which provided programming for people incarcerated on Rikers Island.  Claire was also a member of the Black Law Students Association. While in law school, Claire interned as a law clerk on the Senate Judiciary Committee for Senator Chris Coons.  Claire received a BA in Economics with a minor in Arabic from Middlebury College.
