Francesca Cocuzza joined the firm in 2021 following clerkships with the Hon. Julio M. Fuentes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Hon. Jose L. Linares of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She previously worked as a legal fellow at the Center for Reproductive Rights, where she represented abortion providers in constitutional challenges to state laws prohibiting or restricting access to abortion, and as a litigation associate at Morrison & Foerster.
Ms. Cocuzza graduated from Columbia Law School in 2017, where she was a James Kent Scholar and received the Pauline Berman Heller Prize for outstanding academic achievement in service of gender equality. During law school, she served as a Notes Editor on the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law and completed an internship with the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project. Ms. Cocuzza received her B.A. with honors in English and Italian from Vassar College.
