Emily Wanger

Emily Wanger maintains a broad practice, representing individuals and institutions in civil rights and commercial matters in federal and state court. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Ms. Wanger clerked for Judge Sidney H. Stein on the Southern District of New York and Judge Cheryl Ann Krause on the Third Circuit. She also previously worked as an Honors Program Deputy Attorney General at the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, where she litigated cases involving civil rights and labor rights in state and federal court. During her time at the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Ms. Wanger also served as Acting Counsel to the Attorney General, working closely with several state agencies to assist in developing and facilitating their litigation and policy goals and advising the Attorney General on related matters.

Ms. Wanger graduated from Yale Law School in 2018, where she served as an executive editor for the Yale Journal on Regulation and a member of the executive board of Yale Law Women. She also participated in the Housing Clinic, in which she represented homeowners in litigation against mortgage lenders and servicers, and the Rule of Law Clinic, in which she assisted clients in anti-discrimination and voting rights matters. Ms. Wanger received her B.A. in English and Political Science from Yale University.
