ATLANTA, GEORGIA, October 19, 2024 – The Prison Law & Advocacy Conference, a biennial national conference for prison reform advocates, academics, experts, and litigators, selected ECBAWM Attorney Dan Eisenberg to present on strategies for pursuing claims for monetary damages, and how those cases fit into larger reform strategies. The Conference, sponsored by the American Civil Liberties Union, Equal Justice Initiative, Southern Poverty Law Center, MacArthur Justice Center, and others, featured keynote speeches from Stephen B. Bright, former Executive Director of the Southern Center for Human Rights, and Calvin Duncan, founder of Light of Justice.
