Ariadne M. Ellsworth has substantial experience working with people in all phases of the criminal-legal system in New York and nationally. Prior to joining ECBAWM in 2023, she was a law clerk for the Hon. Eunice C. Lee on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ariadne graduated from Yale Law School in 2022. While at Yale she was a teaching assistant for the Litigating Civil Rights course and participated in the Criminal Justice Advocacy Clinic, where she helped oversee a settlement to secure early release for at-risk federal prisoners at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. During law school she interned with the Federal Defenders of New York and the Southern Center for Human Rights. Prior to law school, Ariadne worked at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. She is a graduate of Brown University.
