Sophia joined the firm as a paralegal in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Sophia worked for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the UN’s Women’s Health Agency. As a Consultant for the UNFPA, Sophia was responsible for reviewing hundreds of legal agreements and policies being evaluated for the yearly workplan review. Sophia also served as an Intern for BYkids and Let America Vote. BYkids is a non-profit production company that produces films made by kids from around the world, sharing cross-cultural perspectives on human rights issues. Let America Vote is a political action organization that aims to combat voter suppression laws, especially those that have a disparate impact on voters based on their race or ethnicity, gender, age, or income. Sophia’s previous experiences have strengthened her dedication to civil rights and social justice matters.
Sophia graduated in May 2020 from Washington University in St. Louis with AB College Honors and a B.A. in Political Science. At Wash U, Sophia worked as a Teaching Assistant, as well as a Research Assistant for several professors. During her senior year, Sophia served as Editor-in-Chief of the Washington University Political Review.
